Coming June 2016

We are excited to share with you-we will be adding a new family member to the all3sisters clan in June!

Jaclyn is no longer only an auntie, but will be a MOM come June!

Check out their announcement Video!

Best part about being an auntie first to both a niece and a nephew is now Baby St. John is set for either gender! Clothes, play mat, toys, swing, rock n play, and so much more!

Do you move around baby items within the family to whoever is expecting next? Thank goodness for sisters!

November Decorating

Do you guys decorate your home for different seasons? Only for Christmas? For every holiday possible? You’re the person that has a St Patrick’s Day wreath for your front door, aren’t you?

Hey. It’s okay. No judgement here. If I had the time and resources, I’d probably redecorate my home multiple times a year. It’s just so fun to get something new or move things around. Even just switching out art or photographs in a frame.

Happy Fall | all3sisters.com

Sometimes we get so used to seeing the same thing every day that we forget the meaning behind the picture in the first place. At least for me, I feel like I walk past the same pictures every day and forget to actually look at them or remember why I hung them in the first place. This happy fall print is a free download from Emily.

But then fall comes around…and there’s Halloween to motivate me to switch things up. And of course after that comes Christmas! The most wonderful time of the year!

Give Thanks Banner | all3sisters.com

But I feel like in the hustle to get to Christmas, I often overlook Thanksgiving. And I don’t mean to. I don’t want to. So the past couple of years I’ve been more purposeful about letting Thanksgiving have its place in our home before we rush on to Christmas.

Fall Mantel | all3sisters.com

I found this Thankful pillow at Target this year and had to bring it home with me. It’s relevant all year long, but I love the reminder it presents as we’re gathered on the couch.

Ember picked those two small pumpkins at the pumpkin patch this year, and she loves pointing at them and carrying them around the house 🙂

This feather pillow is also a Target find. It has such great fall colors, and is so perfectly fall to me. Without actually screaming fall.

I made this GIVE THANKS banner a few years ago. It was so simple – just print off your letters and cut them in your desired shape. Add some holes with a hole punch, string them on some colorful ribbon and you’ve got yourself a banner. Easy to customize for any occasion!

And just to make you all feel better about yourselves…here’s what our living room actually looked like as I was snapping these pictures 🙂 See, I’m all about making you feel good. You’re welcome.

Cabbage Salsa

Have you guys been to a Mexican restaurant that serves Cabbage Salsa? No?

Never even heard of it? What is that about, anyways? I just have to say that you are missing out. That’s all there is to it.  Lucky for you, we have the recipe today!

Cabbage Salsa Bowl | all3sisters.com

We grew up in Wenatchee, Washington. Where there is a Mexican restaurant on every corner. You think I’m exaggerating. You’re welcome to go visit and see for yourself. Brightly painted stucco abounds.

And yet, with all those choices…we always went to the same one. Every. Time. Because they have this AMAZING salsa. You just can’t beat it.

Cabbage Salsa Chips | all3sisters.com

And it’s good for you. Like really. You don’t even have to try and trick yourself into believing it’s healthy. I mean, it’s main ingredient is cabbage…but please don’t let that deter you from giving it a try. We promise you won’t be disappointed!

Cabbage Salsa | all3sisters.com

Look at that. Don’t you wish you could reach thru the screen and grab a chip? Completely covered in salsa deliciousness.

Cabbage Salsa | all3sisters.com

We make this salsa almost every time our entire family gets together. That’s how much we all love it. And we know you will too! Give it a try and let us know what you think.

Oreo Footballs

Do you guys spend your entire fall watching football everyday too? Okay, maybe it’s not EVERY day…but do you ever feel that way? No, just me? Maybe you don’t even like football and you’re trying to figure out where I’m going with this. That’s okay too, you’ll still enjoy these treats, I promise! Footballs optional.

Well, in our family, we play fantasy football. All 3 of us sisters, our husbands, our dad, our aunt & our uncles. We have a family league and it might just be one of our favorite things. There’s nothing like friendly competition between family members! It makes winning taste that much sweeter.

And there’s nothing like watching football games WITH the people you’re competing against. Seriously, it makes watching football so much more personal. You are invested in every game – because most likely one of you has players in the game. And believe you me, there is plenty of razzing happening – why else would we want to watch it together? 😉

It also does weird things to you, like make you enjoy watching a team you hate. But that’s another story for another day. I’m looking at you Raiders.

Moving on…one of the other perks of football season: lots of yummy snacks. Last Sunday we decided to make some chocolate covered Oreo balls, and turn them into footballs. Brilliant! Themed chocolate. That’s my love language. You think I’m kidding.

Oreo Football | all3sisters.com

These footballs are delicious and literally take like ten minutes. Perfect for getting back to watching your team score touchdowns!

Oreo Footballs | all3sisters.com

They don’t have to be perfect, they just have to taste good. At least that’s our motto!

Happy Birthday Michelle!

Every year on our Birthday growing up, Mom would wake us up with a photo in bed. She should have passed the responsibility on to our husbands as the tradition ended after we moved out.

We look forward to gathering at Mom and Dad’s for our family birthday party and requesting our favorite dinner. Michelle typically requests fried chicken and mashed potatoes!

How are we celebrating Michelle’s Birthday this year, you ask? Vacation birthdays call for pizza and Michelle’s dessert of choice! Pizza Hut stuffed crust is a family favorite!

Mom made ‘Golden Oreo Cake Batter Ice Cream Pie’ for Michelle and we wanted to share it with you! Enjoy!birthdaycakepie|all3sisters.com
